Hoarding clearance, Brisbane-wide

Whole-house clearouts from one room to multi-storey. Crew, trucks and disposal handled in-house.

We clear hoarded homes from one-room jobs through to multi-storey properties packed wall to wall. A foreman runs the site, the crew sorts and loads, and we take everything to the appropriate facility — tip, recycler, donation, or specialist disposal.

What we deal with

Single-room hoards through to whole-of-house, multi-storey, garage, shed and yard combined. Standard household contents, paperwork, food waste, e-waste, white goods, furniture, soft furnishings and general rubbish. Where biohazards or animal waste are present, the job switches to our squalor cleanup workflow.

How we run the job

  • Site assessment — in person where access allows, otherwise photo and video walkthrough
  • Fixed-fee or capped-rate quote in writing
  • Crew and trucks scheduled — typical job: 2–6 crew, 1–3 days
  • Foreman runs the site and confirms salvage decisions with you
  • Tip runs throughout the day, dockets retained
  • Final walk-through and handover photos

Salvage and valuables

Anything you want kept is set aside in a nominated area before the crew works through the room. Documents, jewellery, photographs and cash are flagged as they surface. If you can’t be on site, we work to a written keep-list and photograph anything unusual before disposal.

Discretion

Unmarked vehicles on request. Crew briefed before arrival on access, parking and any neighbours or strata to be aware of. We don’t comment on the contents of the home, on site or after.

What it costs

Hoarding clearance is quoted per job, not per hour. Volume of contents, access, parking, tip distance and disposal mix all affect price. A site visit or photo walkthrough gets you a written quote in 24–48 hours. Capped quotes available for executors and property managers who need a ceiling.

Hoarding clearance — FAQ

Common questions

How long does a hoarding clearance take?
Most single-occupant homes clear in 1–3 days with a 3–5 person crew. Multi-storey or extreme-volume jobs run 3–6 days. We give a day count in the written quote.
Do we need to be on site?
No. We work to a written keep-list and a salvage instruction. Family members, executors, support coordinators or property managers commonly engage us with the resident or owner absent.
What happens to items that have value?
Anything flagged as keep is set aside. Anything saleable is offered back for collection. Donatable goods go to local charity bins; scrap metal and e-waste go to recyclers. Tip is the last option.
Can you handle biohazards?
If there’s animal waste, sharps, mould or extensive soiling, the job switches to our squalor cleanup workflow — different PPE, different disposal stream. We can run it as a combined scope.
Are you insured?
Public liability, workers comp and goods-in-transit cover. Certificates of currency available on request.
