Deceased estate clearance for executors and solicitors

Property cleared, valuables flagged, contents removed. Handover ready for sale, probate or settlement.

We work to executors, solicitors and family members to clear estates against a written instruction. Valuables, documents and items of sentimental note are set aside; the remainder is sorted to salvage, donation, recycling or disposal. Property handed back broom-clean for inspection, sale or settlement.

How we work with executors

Most estate jobs are run on a written scope agreed by email. A walkthrough captures items to keep, items to value, items to donate and anything to flag. The crew works to that scope, photographs anything unusual before disposal, and provides a closing report with tip dockets, donation receipts and handover photos for the file.

Valuables and documents

  • Cash, jewellery, watches and small valuables collected in a single labelled box
  • Documents, photo albums and correspondence collected separately
  • Items of obvious value (antiques, collectibles, art) flagged for valuer or family review
  • Anything found in lining, drawers or hidden spaces is held until the executor reviews

Turnaround

Standard estates clear in 1–3 days. We can match settlement or auction timelines and coordinate with your real estate agent for the next-day handover.

Working with solicitors and trustees

We invoice the estate or the appointed legal representative. Scope and pricing supplied as a formal quote document. Insurance certificates, ABN and police-check evidence supplied on request.

Deceased estate clearance — FAQ

Common questions

Can you start before probate is granted?
Generally yes, with executor or solicitor instruction in writing. We don’t dispose of identifiable valuables until you confirm.
What if we’re interstate or overseas?
Standard. Photo walkthrough, written scope, daily updates, final handover report. We can hand keys to your agent or solicitor on completion.
Do you handle estates with hoarding or squalor?
Yes. We combine deceased estate workflow with the hoarding or squalor scope under one quote, one crew, one timeline.
Can you sell items on behalf of the estate?
We don’t run an auction service, but we coordinate with auction houses and second-hand dealers and can hold items for collection.
